Sidoarjo, My Hometown

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog and for this time I will tell you guys about my hometown, Sidoarjo, yeah probably most of you guys have already heard or even have been in this beautiful city of Sidoarjo but let me tell you guys from my perspective.

First things first, Sidoarjo is one of the 29 regency in east java and it’s quickly become more modern in the past 10 years. As far as I can remember, this city doesn’t has many malls and supermarket back then as it is now today. Such as, Giant supermarket, Lippo Plaza, and Ramayana. Do we really need that much malls? Also the population is now very crowded with lots of newcomers come here. But don’t get me wrong, I love how my hometown is keep growing and modernize along the time, it’s just sometimes doesn’t feel like the hometown I used to know.

Aside from the malls and people, Sidoarjo has other interesting to offer, like there are Mpu Tantular Museum, Gelora Delta Stadium (GOR), Alun-Alun Sidoarjo, Masjid Agung Sidoarjo, and many other cool place to visit when you’re in Sidoarjo. For the last one, let’s talk about the typical food from Sidoarjo. Sidoarjo is known for shrimp and milkfish (bandeng). It can be made into delicious otak-otak bandeng, bandeng asap (smoked milkfish), and Bandeng Presto. For the shrimp, it can be made into kerupuk udang (shrimp cracker) and Petis sauce, my favorite.

My Dream House

What’s up everybody! I cannot believe you guys keep reading my uninformative blog, don’t you guys have something better to do? Well anyway, thank you guys for keep reading my blog and today I’m going to tell you about my dream house.

When talk about a dream house people will often think about a big luxurious house with a private golf course and a big swimming poll outside the house. But that is not what I see in my future dream house. I want to build my house in suburban area or maybe in a remote area. Because I have enough with the noise and the air in a big city or urban area.  So it will be more like a cabin rather than a house.

 

My Dream House Cabin

I can imagine what my cabin is going to be, it’ll be a 2 storey cabin. In the first floor there’ll be living room with big fireplace feature in it, to the right of living room there’ll be a small kitchen area and a small cozy dining room just off the kitchen. Then in the back side, there’ll be a bathroom with a big pleasant and relaxing bathtub inside which it’s enough for couples. If you know what I mean.

Now let’s move to the second floor. On the second floor I imagine there’ll be 2 bedrooms. The first one is for the main bedroom and  the second is the guest room or the children room. For the main bedroom, I’ll make it as comfortable as possible and it’ll feature a queen sized bed facing out of big windows into the forest and mountain views. The last one is the guest room. In the guest room, I’ll use bunk beds as place to sleep enough to three peoples.
